Tech Tips: Battery Replacement Video

1) LED Indicator Description
- Flashing blue indicates normal operation
- Flashing blue and red indicates low battery

2) Battery Replacement Procedures
A - Disassemble Remote
- Place remote on table face down
- Use small phillips screwdriver to remove screws
- Flip remote over face up
- Remove metal bottom of keychain from remote
- Use a small flathead screwdriver to separate the remote into two pieces

B - Replace Batteries
- Locate batteries on circuit board
- Remove battery assembly and press batteries through circular housing
- Only use recommended replacement batteries
- Stack new batteries on top of each other (+) side facing up
- Replace batteries into circular housing
- Housing needs to be installed for ensure proper remote operation

C - Reassemble Remote
- Replace circuit board into bottom housing
- Replace top half of remote by aligning both pieces
- Carefully press to snap both pieces together
- Replace metal bottom of keychain onto remote
- Place remote on table face down
- Replace screws

D - Testing Remote
- Press LOCK button to observe BLUE -or- RED LED
- A BLUE -and- RED LED indicates improper battery installation
- If remote is not locking doors, you may need to press LOCK button several times to re-sync the remote.
